- This homework assignment marks the second time where the contenders had to sing the homework assignment individually, after "True Colors" in Season One's "Believability" episode.
- The contenders had to sing the entire song, but was edited so that everyone was shown singing a small part.
- Shanna's line was supposed to be ``Does she know how you told me you'd hold me, until you died, 'till you died``, but she forgot some of the lines and improvised it.
- Charlie changed the lyrics to fit him.
- On Glee's Season Two episode "Original Song", Santana Lopez (Naya Rivera) mentions this is her favorite song.
- Ali, Aylin, Shanna, and Charlie received positive feedback while Michael received negative feedback.
- This is the first time a contender forgets the lyrics for a homework assignment.
