|Waiting for a Girl/Boy Like You|
|Sung by||Blake Jenner and |
|Type||Last Chance Performance|
Waiting for a Girl/Boy Like You was a last chance performance sung by Blake Jenner and Nellie Veitenheimer in the fifth episode of the second season of The Glee Project, Adaptability. It was originally sung by Foreigner. Instead of the normal solo last chance performance, the mentors surprised the bottom six with another adaptability challenge; to sing a duet with an assigned partner. Blake and Nellie were assigned as partners. Because of this performance, neither Blake nor Nellie was placed in the bottom three.
I've been looking too hard,
I've been waiting too long
Sometimes I don't know what I will find
I only know it's a matter of time
When you love someone
Maybe I'm wrong
Will you tell me if I'm coming on too strong
This heart of mine has been hurt before
This time I wanna be sure
I've been waiting for a girl like you to come in to my life
I've been waiting for a boy like you and a love that will survive
I've been waiting (waiting)
For a (Blake: girl) (Nellie:boy) like you to come into my life.
- That song is performed by Mark Salling on Glee's Season Three episode "Pot O' Gold".
- It is the only last chance performance not to be sung by any contender who was in the bottom three for that week.
