Hi everyone! I'm really excited to get started on this, and I've created a structure that I'm hoping will work (barring any complicated messes).

So, just to let everyone know, I'm posting everything on a Pacific Time Zone, which I know sucks for a lot of people because it means that everyone's likely to be ahead of me in the day, but I'm from California, and we're snobs that do things on our own clock, so yeah.

That said, right now the tentative plan is to work in week-ish schedules. I'm hoping to post a blog with the episode's Theme and Homework Assignment each week on Monday, get everyone's feedback, and move on with the episode by Wednesday. Then, according to the perfect-world-schedule I've created for myself, Friday I'll post the Bottom 3 and LCPs with Ryan's notes on your week. You'll send back any notes you have for your character on the song and Ryan's comments, and I'll put down the Callbacks on Sunday, starting the whole process over again.

If you don't send in any comments it won't automatically Bottom 3 or eliminate your contestant-- I know we all have lives and obligations. However, keep in mind that the more interactive your character is, the better their chances are of staying.

I know some of you were interested in couplings, friendships, rivalries, etc, and I'll take any suggestions into consideration, but as I am God in this fic, I've got my own ideas/plans and hope to grow any relationships in what seems like an organic manner.

If you have any questions or critiques, just send me a line.

And now that I've bored you all to numbness, this week's Theme!

This week is all about Individuality (was there any question?): what makes you stand out from other people, from the other contenders?

The Homework Assignment is "A Change Would Do You Good" by Sheryl Crow. Check out the lyrics and send in your character's choice. This is not a first-come, first-serve, so consider having more than one option. We also need someone to organize choreography-- any takers?
