Teenage Dream was the Music Video featured in the sixth episode of the first season of The Glee Project, Sexuality. It was originally sung by Katy Perry. Unlike previous videos where the contenders only recorded their lines of the song, in this video the contestants all recorded the same parts which were then spliced together so that the sound matched the video clips. They filmed it in pairs with each pair in a different setting. The pairs were as following:
Samuel was the homework assignment winner on this episode, but he didn't get a bigger part in the group number.
The Video Shoot[]
The video shoot for "Teenage Dream" showed quick and different clips of all three couples as the song played. The pair with the most screentime were Damian and Lindsay, despite Samuel and Alex winning the homework assignment.
- Damian and Lindsay were dressed up in Glee costumes - Damian was a jock and Lindsay was a 'Cheerio' (Sue Sylvester's cheerleader group) - and they were in Lindsay's bedroom. Damian starts off by chasing Lindsay round a bed before the pair become more 'in love'. Their shoot ends with an unscripted kiss between the pair.
- Cameron and Hannah were in a kitchen and Hannah was making food. Then Cameron comes over and a romantic food fight emerges between the two.
- Samuel and Alex were in the garage having a lovey-dovey musical jam session. This pair got the most negative feedback on YouTube and more, and Samuel said he "was landed with the toughest challenge because Alex is gay, and I'm not so I have to make it believeable."

Trivia[]
- This music video was set similarly to the "Like A Virgin" scene on Glee. It consisted of three couples, each in a similar situation, and singing about it. Like A Virgin was sung in this episode but as the homework assignment.
- This song was sang by Darren Criss twice in Glee. First with The Warblers in season two episode "Never Been Kissed," then Darren sang an acoustic version by himself in season four episode "The Break-Up."
