LyricsEdit

Do you hear me,
I'm talking to you
Across the water across the deep blue ocean
Under the open sky, oh my, baby I'm trying

I'm lucky I'm in love with my best friend
Lucky to have been where I have been
Lucky to be coming home again

They don't know how hard it is
Livin' like this before
Waitin' every single word
I never knew you before
I'll wait for you I promise you, I will

Never in love with you before, and I
Now...
This is my favorite part of the song

Lucky we're in love every way
Lucky my nerves didn't kick in at all
Lucky to be coming home someday

TriviaEdit

The second time was in Tenacity when Marissa performed Hate on Me and the third time was in the same episode, Sexuality, when Charlie performed I Get a Kick Out of You.
  • This is the second time someone forgets the lyrics. The first time was Matheus' Down performance, and it occurred in episode four as well.
  • This song is performed by Dianna Agron and Chord Overstreet on Glee's Season Two episode "Duets."
