Called Back No (But he was saved when Cameron quit)

Danny Boy was a last chance performance sung by Damian McGinty Jr. in the seventh episode of the first season of The Glee Project, Sexuality. It was originally sung by Frederick Weatherly. It is a traditional Irish song. After this performance, Ryan said it didn't make him feel anything. Damian was not going to be called back, but Cameron made the decision to quit, meaning that Damian took his place in the final five making it to the eighth  episode.

Lyrics[]

Oh, Danny Boy
The pipes, the pipes are calling
From glen to glen
And down the mountainside

The summer's gone
And all the roses falling
Tis' you, tis' you
Must go and I must bear

But call me bearn
And tell me that you love me
And I will sleep
In peace forever more

Until you come

Trivia[]

  • Damian was embarrassed to find out he wasn't called back because he had performed this song many times before he was on The Glee Project. However, he did get to stay because Cameron decided to quit.
