|Season 1, Episode 4|
|Air date||July 10, 2011|
Dance-ability is the fourth episode in season one of The Glee Project, a spin-off of Glee, in which young hopefuls compete for a seven episode guest starring role on the show.
The contestants may not all be talented dancers, but they wow Harry with their commitment and energy. Harry picks Samuel as the winner. Alex says to Samuel he thinks he should've won, but he just wanted someone else to shine, annoying the other contenders. During the one-on-one session, Harry coaches Samuel in the art of physical expression. During the recording sessions, Hannah gets upset that Samuel uses her “Skadoosh” and that Nikki compliments him on his originality. The music video for the week is MC Hammer’s U Can't Touch This. Marissa impresses Damian with her booty-pop. During the video shoot, the mentors are pleasantly surprised by Damian and Marissa, which they didn't expect. Matheus doesn't listen to direction because he practiced it a different way, gets very stressed and acts like a diva, asking 'Where's my water?' and snapping at other contenders on set.
The bottom three are Alex, Matheus and McKynleigh. The mentors don’t like Alex’s attitude, and Matheus isn’t much better. Meanwhile, they feel McKynleigh isn’t fully committing to her performances. For their Last Chance Performance songs, the mentors choose Last Name by Carrie Underwood for McKynleigh, Down by Jay Sean for Matheus, and Whitney Huston’s I Will Always Love You for Alex. Despite her unanimously acclaimed performance, the mentors decide to send McKynleigh home. She ends the episode singing Keep Holding On.
